Had a bit of burnout with making the graphs, but it’s all done now.

Module Level Rework

This is the major change for this update. Rather than having constant chances for modules, they are now dynamic, changing every wave. So think carefully when you open the shop. As a general rule, the stronger a turret/module is, the lower its chance at the start of the game, the higher the later in the game. However, there are some exceptions, good luck discovering them!

Additions

Giantslayer Module - All Turrets

Deals increased damage to bosses.

Levels:

  • I - Bonus 50% damage
  • II - Bonus 100% damage

Critical Strike Module - All Turrets

Has a % chance to deal double damage on hit.

Levels:

  • I - 5% chance to deal double damage

Instakill Module - Shooter, Smasher, Gunner

Has a % chance to instakill the enemy. Does not activate any death abilities. Does not work on bosses.

Levels:

  • I - 0.1% chance to instakill

Reworks

Smasher Turret

  • Smasher now deals a % damage depending how close the centre of the enemy is to the centre of the turret. The closer it is, the more damage it deals.
  • Base Damage increased from 125 to 250

Laser Turret

  • Laser’s laser now reaches all the way to the edge of it’s range, and deals damage to all enemies the centre of the laser hits.

Stun Module

  • Stun now has a % chance to stun the turret each time it attacks
  • Stunned enemies can no longer perform abilities

Levels:

  • I - 7% chance to stun enemies for 0.25s (no changes), 2% chance to stun the turret for 0.5s (new)
  • II - 15% chance to stun enemies for 0.5s (no changes), 3% chance to stun the turret for 0.75s (new)

Balance Changes

Velocity Module - Multi-Use Trial

  • Can now be applied to Smasher
  • Reduced bullet speed increase

Levels:

  • I - Bullet Speed increase from +50% to +30%. Increases Smasher Damage, Range and Fire Rate by 10%
  • II - Bullet Speed increase from +100% to +60%. Increases Smasher Damage, Range and Fire Rate by 15%

Sniper Module

Sniper wasn’t really packing enough of a punch on laser, and isn’t use that much.

  • Now increases Laser damage

Levels:

  • I - Increases laser damage by 50%

Slow Module - Multi-Use Trial

It’s a great module on smasher or gunner, but shooter’s not getting much love. So we’ve added addition stat changes for gunner and smasher to help make shooter a more viable option.

Levels:

  • I - Gunner Spin Up Multiplier reduced by -5%. Gunner Spin Down Multiplier increased by +3%, Smasher Range reduced by -10%
  • II - Gunner Spin Up Multiplier reduced by -10%. Gunner Spin Down Multiplier increased by +7.5%, Smasher Range reduced by -15%

Bombs Module - Multi-Use Trial

Another option for the Smasher! Crashing down with explosive force, the shockwave can travel further, increasing smasher’s damage and range!

  • Reduced Range reduction for Gunner and Shooter

Levels:

  • I - Range reduction decreased from -20% to -10%. Smasher’s Range and Damage increases by 10%.
  • II - Range reduction decreased from -35% to -20%. Smasher’s Range and Damage increases by 15%.
  • III - Range reduction decreased from -50% to -30%. Smasher’s Range and Damage increases by 25%.

Execute Module

Some of you said Execute didn’t feel powerful enough and the percentages were too small. So we’ve increased them!

Levels:

  • I - Execute percentage increase from 5% to 10%
  • I - Execute percentage increase from 10% to 15%

Missiles Module - Multi-Use Trial

While it was good on a gunner, it didn’t quite pack the right punch of shooter, and was generally better than bombs.

Levels:

  • I - Gunner Spin Up Multiplier increases by 5%. Gunner Fire Rate Cap decreases by -5%
  • II - Gunner Spin Up Multiplier increases by 15%. Gunner Fire Rate Cap decreases by -10%
  • III - Gunner Spin Up Multiplier increases by 30%. Gunner Fire Rate Cap decreases by -15%

Tracker Module - Multi-Use Trial

  • Now increases Gunner’s Fire Rate Cap

Levels:

  • I - Gunner Fire Rate Cap increases by 10%
  • II - Gunner Fire Rate Cap increases by 20%

All Maps:

  • Now use a new module and turret chances.

Bugs

Fixed Bugs

  • Really fast bullets (300%+ speed) no longer shoot past enemies and will not hit them.
  • Login Screen now correctly displays for new users

Other Changes

  • FasterShots (old class name) is now named Velocity. This it to match it’s in-game name (as I kept getting confused!)
  • Modules can now have an OnAttack() function, meaning they can do things when a turret shoots (as well as when a turret hits an enemy)
  • Added WeightedCurve and WeightedCurveList to be able to use curves on random pickings.
